An elderly man from a distant village in Iraqi Kurdistan is mightily vexed by his daughter's dreams of becoming an artist, in contrast with his desire for her to graduate from the faculty of Islamic Studies. It’s a case of that perennial problem, the dilemma between the aspirations of the young, and stifling tradition.
