69 Minutes Of 86 Days
Norwegian director Egil Håskjold Larsen helms this touching and poignant story of the global refugee crisis, from the point of view of a small child. We are led into a crowd full of millions of people on the run, embarking on a journey in which thousands have already lost their lives. As the camera moves along a Greek highway, three-year-old Lean engages us. Filmed from one metre above ground level, the camera captures the story from Lean’s view. The landscape changes with each country and we can’t be sure where she is. All we know is that Lean is on her way to her grandfather in Sweden and she dreams of learning to swim.
