Burn Your Maps
A family in emotional turmoil is taken by surprise in this quirky adventure about an eccentric eight-year-old boy named Wes who has a remarkable existential epiphany - he believes that he is in fact a Mongolian goat herder. This delightful comedy drama stars Jacob Tremblay (so good in last year’s DIFF opener THE ROOM) as the youngster who is convinced he is born in the wrong place. Wes starts to adopt the ways of a Mongolian goat herder. He convinces his mother to take him on a soul-searching journey to Mongolia, with their trip recorded by Ismail (Suraj Sharma), an aspiring filmmaker.
