From My Syrian Room
In 2011, when the Syrian people took to the streets, Hazem Alhamwi, an artist and filmmaker found himself unable to face his fears. Paralysis during such a historic moment was inconceivable. Returning to his most distant memories, from his childhood to the present day, Hazem explores a culture of fear and a nation’s desire to be free.
