Lynne Ramsay
Lynne Ramsay (b. Glasgow) is one of Britain’s most original and exciting voices in independent cinema. A Cannes favourite, she won the Prix de Jury in 1996 for her graduation short film, SMALL DEATHS and for GASMAN (1998/short). Her debut feature RATCATCHER (2000) premiered in Un Certain Regard and received a Special Mention. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN (2011) premiered at Cannes and won several awards including Best Director at the British Independent Film awards and Best Film at the London Film Festival.
