RENAISSANCE OF PALESTINIAN FILM AT DIFF
Mon Dec 09,2013
Five of the Palestinian directors showcasing films at this year’s Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) take a break from their busy schedules to congregate at the DIFF Film Market Forum. Despite production challenges in Palestine, films depicting the experience of Palestinians both in Palestine and abroad are gaining visibility year on year, with directors such as Hany Abu-Assad, whose new feature Omar was DIFF’s opening night film, celebrated at the world’s most prestigious festivals.
