EGYPTIAN CINEMA LEGEND MOHAMED KHAN’S ‘FACTORY GIRL’ HAS WORLD PREMIERE AT DIFF
Mon Dec 09,2013
Veteran Egyptian film director Mohamed Khan chose the tenth annual Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) as the World Premiere location for his latest feature film, Factory Girl, starring Egyptian actress Yasmin Raees. The drama tells the story of working class sisters Hiyam and Basma, who work in a clothing factory in a poor neighbourhood in Cairo. DIFF is increasingly prominent as a premiere platform for Arab filmmakers, who take advantage of the festival’s international spotlight and strong industry representation to push their work onto the world stage.
