Every year, DIFF hires temporary staff on short-term contracts. Previous editions of DIFF have been a spectacular success and the festival recognises the hard work and commitment of its team of enthusiastic film-loving staff, who provide vital support before and during DIFF to ensure its smooth running and successful organisation.
DIFF promises to be a grand extravaganza of exciting Arab and world cinema, glamour and will celebrate excellence in filmmaking with the Muhr Awards – Arab, Asia and Africa.
DIFF has a number of positions available in the following departments of the festival:
Operations Department
Theatre Operations: Assisting with the smooth running of movie scheduling, ushering guests, Box Office & Customer Service: Assisting with ticketing and customer support, Registration & Accreditation: Assisting with the guest, talent and media accreditation and registration and Headquarters Operations: Assisting in all areas relating to the set up of Festival Headquarters
Human Resources & Administration
Responsible of sourcing and hiring a qualified candidates in addition to assisting in the management of over 700 volunteers who are placed throughout every Department of the Festival and provide back office support
Guest Relations & Hospitality
Assisting in all areas of Guest Relations & Hospitality. Including guest invitations, accommodation, air travel, local transportation, airport operations and local hospitality
Marketing & Events
Assisting in areas of promoting the Festival, branding and sourcing sponsors for the Festival. And also, assisting in areas of events including the invitations process
Programme Administration & Film Services
Assisting in supporting the overall festival programming particularly from an administrative, operational, and programme logistics management standpoint
Government Relations & Protocol
Assisting in all areas of Protocol
Security Department
Assisting all areas of the Festival and ensuring of smooth running of the security process during the Festival period
Dubai Film Market
Assisting DIFF delegates, registered as members of the regional and international film industry, and coordinating services and events specific to the Film Market
