The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) today announced new plans for business opportunities within the Dubai Film Market (DFM) during the 11th edition of the Festival (10 – 17th December, 2014).The DFM runs concurrently with the Festival with a mission to support filmmakers by creating a hub for Arab cinema and a destination for sales and acquisitions of Arab films and TV content.
The Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) announced today that submissions for its 11th edition are now open. Following a successful decennial edition in 2013, DIFF is inviting filmmakers from across the Arab world to participate in its December 10th to 17th festival, which is best known for discovering and showcasing the best of Arab and international cinema.
The next screening of The Scene Club will be held on 12th August and will showcase the Japanese family drama LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON by Kore-eda Hirokazu, winner of the Cannes Jury Prize in 2013. The screening will take place at Dubai Knowledge Village Conference Centre at 8pm, but guests are requested to arrive promptly at 7pm to secure collection of their pre-booked complimentary tickets, as entry is on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.
