600-Strong Army Manning DIFF Operations

More than 350 volunteers and 250 staff are on hand every day of the seven-day Dubai Film Festival, handling everything from theatre operations to transportation arrangements and translations. The volunteers, who include a strong contingent from schools and universities around the UAE, provide all manner of support services from registration of Festival delegates and guests to box office handling at the various Festival venues around the city.

Last Chance to See More Than 50 International Films: The last two days of the Festival include more than 50 films from around the world, including critically acclaimed films from Africa, Europe, the Americas, the Far East and Asia. Tickets are still available for many of the films, including the closing night gala film Joyeux Noel.

The second Dubai International Film Festival ends Saturday, December 17, and features 198 films including features, retrospectives and short films. Tickets and an entire schedule of the Festival films are available on the Dubai Film Festival website, and at Festival box offices around the city.

The Festival is presented by Dubai Media City and its Founding Sponsors are Dubai Duty Free, Dubai Properties, Emirates, Etisalat and the Madinat Jumeirah – the Arabian Resort.
