Zeina lives in Dubai. In the midst of a divorce, she sends her son Karim to stay with her sister in Kherbet Selem, a small village in southern Lebanon, to spare him from his parents' fighting. A few days later, war breaks out in Lebanon. Desperately worried, Zeina immediately heads to Lebanon via Turkey. Because of the blockade she doesn't reach the port of Beirut until the day of the ceasefire. There, Zeina, a Shiite, meets Tony, the only taxi-driver who agrees to take her to the South. They have nothing in common. Toni is Christian and dreams of leaving the country. Back in Lebanon, Zeina realizes she doesn't want to leave any more. And yet, despite all this, Toni and Zeina will love each other, as a kind of response to the death all around them. l "Two years after his musical Bosta, Philippe Aractingi comes back with a very different movie, about the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, filmed on location."
