Synopsis

Syrian film maker Hala Alabdalla is known for her idiosyncratic, experimental approach. In this, her second documentary, she takes a journey through the collective conscience of a three artists and writers, whose life stories each relate a fascinating perspective on Arab cultural identity. In'Hey! Don't Forget The Cumin', Alabdalla charts their tumultuous and emotional journeys. This follows her first film 'I Am the One Who Brings Flowers to her Grave', a hit at DIFF 2006, as well as being a prize-winner at festivals worldwide.
