Synopsis

Wilbur the pig is born. Mr. Arable (Kevin Anderson) decides to kill Wilbur because he would cost too much to raise. Revolted, his daughter Fern (Dakotta Fanning) begs her father to spare Wilbur and raise him. He agrees, until Wilbur gets big and has to be moved to the Zuckermans' farm, where he begins a second friendship with a spider, Charlotte (voiced by Julia Roberts). Fern visits Wilbur every day at the farm, where many animals team up to try to save him from ending up on someone's dinner table. Devotion, hope and sacrifice are the main themes of this wonderful adaptation of E.B. White's classic novel. Charlotte's Web is a lovely story of friendship, full of fantasy, emotions and magic and suitable for children of all ages.
