Synopsis

Young Ibrahim's school grades are falling badly - partly due to the fact that he's spending much of his time nursing a crush on a schoolfriend. When he is expelled for persistently bad marks, he has to come up with an excuse for his father, quick - and so finds himself inventing a fantastic story, which comes to have rather serious repercussions. A poignant and enjoyable coming of age story from award-winning director Samir Guesmi.
