Synopsis

Upon being drafted for military service, Ahmad, a determined young Syrian poet, decides to flee his country, up to his neck with labyrinthine bureaucracy, conservative family, and to top it all off, a reluctant lover. En route to Lebanon, he discovers himself in an unexpected place, an apricot orchard. How will the orange fruits inspire our poetic hero?
