Synopsis
This is a poetic, intimate film, hard to describe, in which Hala Alabdalla and Ammar Al Beik provide us with glimpses into the lives and memories of two people who believe in art so much that they consider it a way of life. The film conveys the views of Hala's husband, Youssef Abdelki, a painter who was imprisoned in Syria for his political thoughts before he chose exile. Al Beik helps his co-director to capture Abdelki's views and his memories through his paintings, and the dire5ctors interview friends and film familiar places to help bridge the gap between their past and present lives.
