Mamoru Hosoda
Mamoru Hosoda (born 1967) first worked as an animator before turning to direction. In 2003, he directed SUPERFLAT MONOGRAM for Louis Vuitton’s 2003 spring/summer collection. He then released THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME (2006) and SUMMER WARS (DIFF 2010) which won numerous awards.
