Mohsen Amiryoussefi

Rakhshan Bani-Etemad is one of Iran’s pioneering women directors and has directed a number of Iran’s best-known documentaries and features such as NARGESS (1991) and GILANEH (2005). Mohsen Amiryousefi has had success at home and abroad with his films. BITTER DREAM (2004) was selected for Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight. Pirooz Kalantari is known for his films including the award-winning THE REFUGEE (1992), festival hit ALONE IN TEHRAN (1999) and THAT IS LIFE (2002). Bahman Kiarostami has worked with his father Abbas, in several films. His film credits include THE PROJECT (1996) and MORTEZA MOMAYEZ (1997). He has also translated several foreign books into Farsi.
