East Asia’s best-known and rising filmmakers have submitted their newest films to wow regional audiences and to earn honors in the seventh Dubai International Film Festival’s Muhr Awards competition next month.
A selection of short films from Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will be screened during the seventh Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF), a measure of the Festival’s success in encouraging a Gulf-wide film industry.
Seven feature, documentary and short films from across the African continent will screen at the seventh Dubai International Film Festival next month, Festival organizers announced today. Six of the films will vie for honours in DIFF’s Muhr AsiaAfrica competition; the last is part of DIFF’s African cinema showcase.
The Dubai International Film Festival today announced its programme of world cinema that will screen during the December 12 – 19 event.
