Young Journalist Award

The DIFF Young Journalist Award programme came to an end yesterday with the mentors Colin Brown (CNBC Business) and Mike Goodridge (Screen International) announcing Sarah Al Gethami, a Saudi student at Middlesex University in Dubai. Al Gethami, who is a student in the university’s Advertising, PR and Media programme said she did not expect to win. ‘I had a true journalistic experience. I was able to interview a lot of people, which was a first for me. Overall, it was totally gratifying and a memorable event for me,’ she said after the announcement.
