Meet The Programmers: Nashen Moodley

Nashen Moodley is the director of the Sydney Film Festival. This follows his 11- year tenure as head of programming at the Durban International Film Festival. As director of DIFF’s AsiaAfrica programmes, Nashen oversees the popular Muhr AsiaAfrica competition as well as all the feature films, documentaries and shorts selected from the world’s two largest continents. An accomplished film critic, journalist and festival programmer, his writing has appeared in newspapers and magazines around the world.
